About Us
Battersea Wellness Hub exists to improve the health, wellbeing, and quality of life of people in Battersea and the surrounding areas. Our work focuses on five key areas designed to support individuals, strengthen communities, and promote inclusion across all age groups.
1. Advancing Health and Wellbeing
We aim to improve physical and mental health by offering accessible, community-based services. Our programmes include tailored advice on managing health conditions, reducing stress, improving nutrition, stopping smoking, and maintaining a healthy weight.
2. Reducing Isolation and Promoting Inclusion
We’re creating a welcoming Wellness Community Centre — a hub for holistic, person-centred support and social connection. Through warm food programmes, community breakfasts, coffee mornings, and regular inclusive events, we help people feel connected and supported.
3. Encouraging Active Lifestyles
We provide a variety of sports, fitness, and recreational activities that are open to everyone, regardless of age or ability. These programmes help build confidence, improve wellbeing, and encourage people to stay active in fun, accessible ways.
4. Supporting Education and Employment
We deliver employability and life-skills training to help people build confidence, develop new skills, and access education, training, or job opportunities. Our aim is to empower individuals to reach their potential and take positive steps forward in life.
5. Building Stronger Communities
We promote community development by creating safe, welcoming spaces where people from all backgrounds can come together. Through collaboration and shared experiences, we foster mutual understanding, support, and a greater sense of belonging.
